A call-in service is for those all important welfare checks, providing peace of mind that your loved one is safe. Constant monitoring means we can be responsive to changing needs.
We know that some of our clients have limited access to the community and are therefore at risk of isolation and loneliness. Alma is here for a friendly face to keep you company.
Our staff are trained to care for people with Dementia, working with compassion and patience to build up trust and deliver care and support all of our clients with dignity.
We understand the mental and physical difficulties that come with age, and how this can affect health, wellbeing and vulnerability. Thats why we provide specialist support for older people.
What is Home Care?
The primary aim of Home Care is to provide the support you or your loved one needs to live a happy and healthy life in the comfort of a familiar environment. It is widely known that the majority of older people want to stay in their homes for as long as possible, and so we strive to make that a reality for as many people as possible. We provide care for many varying requirements, including all aspects of personal care, Dementia, Physical Disabilities, Hospital Discharge and even simple Companionship. The frequency and level of care can be entirely personalised to reflect the specific requirements of each and every client.
Who is Home Care for?
Home Care is for anyone who needs physical, emotional or medical support at home in order to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Maybe you or a loved one has recently been discharged from hospital, and require a little support during your/their transition and recovery. We can provide a personally tailored service to give the right level of support. Our staff are trained in Dementia Care, in order to effectively provide care with compassion and patience, placing particular emphasis on building trust and maintaining dignity. We also provide a Call In service for those who are physically well enough to not require daily support, but would like someone to drop in on a regular basis to check on their welfare and monitor and respond to any needs that may arise.
The Role of a Home Carer?
Our Home Carers are experienced, well trained and thoroughly vetted to ensure that you and your loved ones are safe and receiving the best care. Their role is to provide whatever support is required to a high standard, promptly and, most importantly, with compassion and respect. Whatever service they are providing, they should be a friendly face who you know has your best interests at the heart of whatever they do.
Matching the Right Home Carer to Suit Your Needs?
We understand the importance of the carer who supports you being the right fit for the job. It is for this reason that we always endeavour to pair clients with carers who are best equipped to manage their specific requirements. For example if a client has Dementia or Alzheimer's we will ensure that the carer/s who work with them have particular experience in that area. Or if you simply want a companion, we will pair you with someone with similar interests to encourage a successful relationship.
The Benefits of Home Care?
Home Care is an essential service which enables vulnerable people to remain safe in their own homes. For families it can provide that all important peace of mind, knowing your loved one is in safe hands. It also provides a perfect in-between for people who need some support but don't want or need to move into a care home.
